Night Owl Light

CONCEPT: The original concept for the Night Owl light comes from the power of artificial illumination. The design alters our perception of a mundane object by illuminating it. This transforms the low-tech piece of architecture it into something that is modern and sophisticated. DESIGN: The six Acrylic parts slot together and are screwed to the ply base. It attaches to the wall through key holes in the back. It is illuminated by a single mini energy saving bulb. The Night Owl Light is instantly lit up by the pull cord to give off a wonderful orange glow creating a warm, peaceful mood. MATERIALS: The Acrylic sheet is screen printed using two colours. The parts are machine cut from one sheet using CNC technology. The base is also computer cut from 9mm ply that has already been pre-sanded.
