Cautionary tales

CONCEPT: Inspired by the fables from the architectural group Superstudio I wanted to devise my own cautionary tales. The idea is also an extension from the earlier Spinifex image. DESIGN: Four images illustrate a snap shot from four short stories from various settings. These are the City, Village, Bush and Industry. They tell of man-made environmental catastrophe and terrorist disaster. The ring of blank furniture and appliances (from the Spinifex image) are placed into these scenarios to connect our singular lives with the problems of many around us. MATERIALS: The images have been printed onto recycled paper and used online. Copyright spinifex 2003
